Erika Hazel is the creator, founder, organizer, the one woman show behind Bizerkeley Food Fest. Except this festival would never happen without the amazing efforts of her friends, family, volunteers, and kind hearted souls who believe in the ethos of Bizerkeley Food Fest.

BFF was born after years of Erika traveling across the country to visit other food festivals like Eat Drink Vegan Fest in Pasadena, Atlantic City Veg Fest, Portland Veg Fest and serving as a volunteer, board member, speaker, and/or curator for vegan festivals like Vallejo Healthy Food Festival (curated for 3 years), San Francisco World VegFest (former volunteer, speaker, and board member), and Sonoma County VegFest (former speaker).

During March 2020, Erika asked Sports Basement Berkeley to take a chance on her and they said yes! We owe them immense gratitude for serving as our home for 3 years and continuing to support our efforts since!

Now Bizerkeley Food Fest is geared to service the mission of our company Every Bite Counts Ent. LLC.  Every Bite Counts Entertainment represents good people having fun eating good food that is good for the planet, the animals, and our bodies! You don't have to be vegan to have fun with us because everytime you try and eat vegan food, every bite you take makes a difference!
